The cottage is in a great location, within 30 minutes of some the UK’s best beaches.
The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was excellent to cook and hang out in.

The stay it self was fantastic, tranquil surroundings and a cosy barn conversion with modern touches making it a perfect balance of modern and rustic.
I look forward to returning again and recommend to anyone who needs a quiet escape to re-set.

The cottage was absolutely lovely and was equipped with everything we needed.
We had a fantastic stay. The cottage is lovely. The location really tested our country road driving!
James was very responsive and provided plenty of information about the cottage and the local area. This made accessing the property a lot easier.
Would be lovely to visit again during drier weather to enjoy the outside a bit more.

Really enjoyed our stay! Homely cottage with room for large families and a dog. Can't fault the cottage or the location - however accessing the cottage is via narrow, low visibility lanes so you need to be a confident driver. We found it no hassle but if you're not used to difficult lanes it's something to be aware of. No access to amenities without driving.

Beautiful house in a great location.
Perfect for exploring local coastal walks and beaches - Maceley Cove, Sunny Bay and Lannacombe Beach were our favourites!!
Kitchen is a dream and the rest of the house doesn’t disappoint either.
James was easy to contact when needed providing helpful local information.
You can tell that this is a “family” holiday home and not just a business.
Great DVD collection, access to Netflix account and brilliant WiFi

Lovely cottage with spacious indoor living spaces in a great location for exploring south Devon, although the roads are rather teenie!
The courtyard is shared with other cottages and there is also an adjoined neighbour so the terrace is a little overlooked.
We really enjoyed our stay and the local farm shops were fab.

We have just enjoyed a fabulous week in South Devon at Kingfisher Cottage. The cottage is located in a quiet cul de sac overlooking a lovely duck pond in the countryside only 10 minutes from Kingsbridge. There was plenty of space for the three of us, with a large open plan kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. We would definitely return again in the future

Had a wonderful week in Devon with the family. The house was exactly as described, and we were particularly impressed with the quality of the kitchen (and how well equipped it was) and all the extras for kids, including all toys and games. The bedrooms were a great size, too.
The house is remote, but we were only 20-30 minutes from Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Bantham beach and Woodlands Park. There’s also a fantastic farm shop and tap room less than ten minutes’ away (Torcross).
Would highly recommend Kingfisher Cottage!

This was our first holiday since the pandemic and we were absolutely thrilled with the property, it’s location and the facilities. The provision for young children was excellent and our grandson loved playing with the toys! The decor was very tasteful and the property is in an extremely peaceful location, yet only a short drive from some wonderful places and beaches. The kitchen and dining area is of a very high specification and with the fast broadband and streaming services, everything is provided. The property was clean, spacious and we loved our stay there.

We had a wonderful weekend at Kingfisher Cottage! It was very remote but we were in a good position to explore Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Beesands & Slapton. The house is very well equipped and the beds comfortable. We had some lovely walks nearby! Would highly recommend.

Kingfisher Cottage is in a beautiful setting in the countryside, the cottage itself is very spacious and cosy.
It was ideal for our break to Devon, there were six of us staying in total with two dogs, this was also very helpful that they allow pets as many places don’t allow them.
The location is deep in the countryside but a short drive to local places such as Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Dartmouth and Totnes.
Another couple of places that we visited were Agatha Christie’s Greenway house and Hope Cove which are both stunning.
Overall our stay was lovely and we would highly recommend to other guests, thank you very much.

Spotlessly clean, larger than expected, really great little sun terrace and gorgeous newly refurbed kitchen.
We had a week here in the lovely little heatwave we just enjoyed in the UK and I couldn’t fault it.
Two 65+ adults, us, our baby son and beagle all were so well catered for and it really was a home away from home for the week.
James was quick regarding any contact and all felt COVID safe.
Close to beautiful beaches, walks and all the towns and places you want to enjoy in south Devon.
Will hopefully return again.
