Stay in Kingfisher Cottage, a luxury self catering holiday cottage
near Kingsbridge in South Devon, UK.

Whatever the season or the length of your stay, whether you come with family or friends or as a couple, you will
find that the South Hams area of Devon has something for everyone.
Another gem within this part of South West England is Kingfisher Cottage, a luxurious self catering holiday
cottage.
Converted from an 18th century stone barn, Kingfisher Cottage is a luxury three-bedroom self catering holiday
cottage in an idyllic rural valley near the picturesque village of Sherford with its thatched cottages and 14th century
church and just a short drive from the ancient market town of Kingsbridge in South Devon.
Built in the secluded Valley Springs with its own spring water supply, it overlooks beautiful gardens and a
naturally spring-fed pond that is home to ducks, koi carp, and a white dove. The valley is surrounded by farmland and
the gently rolling countryside of the South Hams. It offers a perfect haven for relaxation, coupled with privacy, peace
and tranquillity.
This unique holiday destination is truly worthy of its national status as an Area of Outstanding Beauty, offering
over sixty miles of spectacular coastline, gently rolling hills and award-winning sandy beaches. Tranquil river
estuaries, bustling towns and picturesque villages, overlooked by the granite slopes of Dartmoor are all a modest drive
away.
Just to top it all, the South Hams region enjoys one of the mildest climates in Britain. It is the unique beauty of
this landscape, together with the comfort and charm of Kingfisher Cottage, which makes visitors want to come back year
after year.
Our UK based luxurious self catering holiday cottage is literally away from the hustle and bustle of the city
centre, yet close to the vibrant city of Plymouth, the popular seaside resorts of the Torbay area, and the historical
market town of Totnes.
The nearest A roads to our cottage are the A379 (via Slapton Sands) which leads to Dartmouth and Paignton, and the
